Can't get example game to run

When I start up the system on the main branch it shows the the splash screen then the game start screen with "press any key to start" but pressing keys, or clicking on the screen does nothing.

Environment. Windows 11, WSL with Ubuntu-24.04, docker installed in Ubuntu.

code installed in WSL at:
/mnt/c/Users/miennaco/git/bevy_workshop-rustweek-2025/

code in docker container at
/workspace/bevy_workshop-rustweek-2025/

On the Windows 11 system I'm running vscode, which sets up the docker container and starts the server.

Any suggestions on how to make this work?

Perhaps not the most useful answer but...

I would definitely avoid using WSL for working with Bevy, especially as a beginner. There's a lot of windowing / rendering complications that are hard to trouble-shoot.

I would install directly on Windows. I've done that across multiple devices, and found it quite painless every time :)

I do Rust / Bevy dev on Windows and Linux basically interchangeably, swapping between them based on convenience and for testing.

I guess I wasn't clear on some of the steps involved. My initial step was to clone bevy_workshop-rustweek-2025 into C:\Users\miennaco\git\, on Windows. I then opened the directory bevy_workshop-rustweek-2025 in vscode, which found the .devcontainer.json file and attempted to open the docker container. That prompted me to install Ubuntu-24.04 in WSL and docker in the Ubuntu VM. After doing that, the WASM version of the project built as expected, and (on Windows) opened a browser tab with the WASM application. The browser tab on windows is what doesn't work correctly. BTW, I'm trying to follow the setup instructions on https://vleue.github.io/bevy_workshop-rustweek-2025/setup.html But they seem to require a Linux environment. I don't see any way to build this on Windows. Ignore the Docker image: you really don't need it. Follow the instructions for Windows starting here: https://bevy.org/learn/quick-start/getting-started/setup/
