Sherlock showing invalid links, didn't found single valid one

I entered a username, but none of the websites it showed had an account with that username to begin with. It should return no links rather than giving fake links and wasting someone's time.

Just wanted to know, what is the objective of the Project / Exercise? Does this not intrude into privacy practices of Github? Not too sure.

i had created one test account in one website and wanted to see if this project returns anything or not. It did return lots of fake links and this strange behavior made me create this discussion @shiva250-ai . Id/username was mine only and i wanted to see if this project blindly puts username in the links of supported websites or not and this project did failed in that test for sure. Regarding your statement -

OSINT tools cant gurantee privacy of literally anyone as those tool gather information from this open internet (all publicly accessible websites,pdf etc). OSINT tools just automate the task we have to manually to gather information about anyone, you can't stop anyone from accessing public data.
