[bench] high-speed traffic generation (40-100Gbps)

Question

Is pcpp suitable for high-speed UDP traffic generation (40-100 Gbps) using Mellanox-4 NIC ?

Looking on benchmark page, I see 4-5 times slower then widely available libpcap, but this benches is TCP parsing, not generation.

I never tested PcapPlusPlus with such high speed traffic. I think it should be able to handle it, however not with libpcap, but with DPDK or eBPF AF_XDP. You can read in our documentation how to use PcapPlusplus with DPDK or eBPF AF_XDP. You'll obviously need the right hardware for it too, standard NICs won't be able to handle such traffic
