Mouse wheel cannot be disabled

In Task Manager Settings, Mouse Wheel is set to Disabled.

Moving the mouse wheel while hovering over the panel still results in the windows being cycled through.

Not reproducible here with 2.2.2, the latest version (actually, with git lxqt-panel). But I'm on kwin_wayland and my KWin is still 6.3.6.

Could you please check if there's a problem with KWin 6.4.3 — if you have it, of course — in both kwin_wayland and kwin_x11?

I see a strange beavior: I logged into kwin_x11 and found the issue confirmed. I changed one setting (grouped windows) and after that it was fine. So I logged out, renamed ~/.config/lxqt and logged back in: in fact, settings say "disabled" but it does cycle. But once toggled it for and back it's ok. But it's not related to kwin, with openbox happens the same.

@DrinkDregs if you change some settings it's fine?

I can't reproduce it with or without "Window grouping": When it's set to "Disabled", it's really disabled.

Here it happens only when the panel.conf is removed. And it happens on labwc wayland too:

1. Stop the panel
2. rename panel.conf
3. Start it
4. try mousewheel→cycles windows
5. read settings, it says "disabled"

But not like the title says: it can be disabled at the end afaik.

Thanks! Then an initial setting should have a problem, regardless of X11 and Wayland. Will check it later.

Here it happens only when the panel.conf is removed.

That's just the discrepancy in default value (when there is no value set in conf file) in taskbar itself logic and the configuration dialog:
