Video recording feature not working.

I'm using Mupen64plus core and Retroarch from Steam version and, at least in my case, it doesn't let me record videos when playing any n64 game. When I press the 'Start recording' button, it doesn't change the 'Start Recording' button to 'Stop recording' button.
