Dear Professor Koichi,
Good afternoon!
When I am doing a detailed analysis of my data, some more problems occur. I want to use "Select words to analyze" to code the concepts in my corpus. Thus, I have tried to upload the following coding file in this section. However, from the results of the frequency list and correspondence analysis, it seems that it does not work.
Like here in this screenshot, Joe and Biden refer to the same person.
I am wondering whether there is a possible way to merge these various terms to mean the same concept in KH Coder.

Well, did you go through the tutorial? If not, please try it and look into attached coding-rule files (code_1.txt and code_2.txt in tutorial_en folder) as the examples.

In KH Coder, automatically extracted words and concept extracted with coding rule files are different things. We cannot mix them in analysis. So if you use a coding-rule file, you have to write 100 rules to analyze 100 words/concept like this:

Also, in the menu of KH Coder, you have to go to [Tools] -> [Coding] -> [correspondence analysis] (as described in the tutorial).
