Project needs upgrading to version 8 from version 4

We're in the red-zone here. Being behind 1 or eve 2 versions isn't deadly for a classroom, but 4 versions is devastating!

I'll assign myself for now since I think we're the only class currently using it (through August 2). But please send your own PRs for any other updates you spot!
