First release tarball isn't updated after #213

#213 was patched 4 months ago and yet a tarball with the fix hasn't been released yet.

As a result the current release tarball is still faulty, and no one can build from it.

#214 Is still an issue since #217 is not merged yet, but that affects just the LTS
users. If the merging is to be delayed we should at least provide a tarball with
the current fix for the rest.

Since #217 and #213 have been merged, consider a bugfix release 1.1.
