I can't give a newline expression to a line in C# and in a rich text box. richTextBox.Lines[0] = Environment.NewLine; I've tried the phrase many times, but there's no other way to spell it. I couldn't find a cure for him.

@harshit7962 WPF RTB does not have Lines property, this seems to be a WinForms issue.

richTextBox.Lines is an array of strings, where each item in the array represents a line of text. Assigning Environment.NewLine to an item in the array like this:
richTextBox.Lines[0] = Environment.NewLine;
…is trying to set the first line to just a newline character — but newline characters themselves don’t show as a separate line. This effectively creates a blank line or nothing visible at all, and might not behave as customer expect.

More simply, if just want to prepend a blank line to the whole text, this adds a newline character at the very beginning of the RichTextBox content:
richTextBox.Text = Environment.NewLine + richTextBox.Text;

Please note:

1. Environment.NewLine by itself doesn't create a line in .Lines[] — it’s a separator, not a standalone line.

2. Use "" (empty string) to represent a blank line.

3. To insert a blank line, modify the .Lines array or prepend to .Text.
