Describe what you are trying to accomplish and why in non technical terms

When I am reviewing the /review site which, due to my configuration utilizes a higher resolution recording than the live view, I would like to remain in this view to access recordings after I load the /review page. Currently I can view up to the time (ie, 4:45PM) that the page loaded. Refreshing the page shows the current time. The video recording playback also stops at the page load time and does not allow recordings after the page load time to be viewed.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the slider on the right hand size to be dynamically updated to show the time between the page load and the current time, so I can continue reviewing after the time (say, 4:45PM) that I loaded the page without having to reload the page.

Alternatively some hybrid of the "live" page with a timeline scrub to view historical recordings. For me, the use case for these two pages is identical.
