Redirect settings do not work well with multiple stores

We created multiple stores (2) and they both have their own default stores.

The redirect settings are working well for only 1 store with multiple store views.

But now with 2 stores, it does not redirect the new default store of new created store anymore.
For the new store, it does not redirect any of the store views.
