App crashes specifically when listening to “Don’t Tap That Glass/Tweakin’”

I’ve been using SpotC++ on LiveContainer and everything worked fine until I tried listening to Don’t Tap That Glass/Tweakin’ by Tyler The Creator. The app will crash after a few seconds into the song at most. I thought it could have either been just me being on iOS 26 beta or LiveContainer’s fault, but i found this post on reddit by someone with the same problem who seemingly admits in the comments to using some form of modded spotify and is also not on beta iOS.

Also happens on my iPad running ios 16.

For some reason if I enable "Do not replace lyrics" i'm eeveespotify settings the song stops crashing, but the lyrics also stay functional.

Looking into it, it only happens when using LRCLIB, my guess would be either a weird character or timing sequence. Looking at what it's pulling up on LRCLIB, this confirms my suspicions.

As you can see there are strange empty lines that are timestamped to a time after the following line. I know from experience of creating a LyricSource that it will crash when mapping lines to LyricsDto out of order.

Looking at the LRCLIB lyrics repository (https://github.com/whoeevee/EeveeSpotify/blob/swift/Sources/EeveeSpotify/Lyrics/Repositories/LrclibLyricsRepository.swift) their seems to be no mitigation for if they are out of order. I think the proper fix would be to make LyricsDto sort them if they're not already. I will make an issue and potentially a PR with these findings in the EeveeSpotify repo later today.

whoeevee/EeveeSpotify#872 has been merged this'll be fixed in next EeveeSpotify update closing for now.
