I am currently running some simple tests with the client to familiarize myself with the library, in which I am trying to connect to a S7-1500 PLC to read a variable and change its value. The read works fine, but the write fails, always returning a BadWriteNotSupported error. I searched the documentation for some examples of this problem, but could not find any.

Also, I was wondering if it is possible to find all the variables that belong to a namespace. I tried using Browser, but again without success.

I just saw that there is the value_only function for DataValue, it worked with this one. It seems that the method new for WriteValues that exists for ReadValueId is missing. Should it be implemented?

I think many new and other convenient methods are missing. Yes Mr welcome.

sounds like an expensive operation if you need to search entire adress space. but yest browse is the call to use

BadWriteNotSupported tend to say the PLC does not want that. but try to remove all timstamps. it might help make your plc happy
