Change default recordings location

Feature description

Is there any specific reason that the default location for recordings is the Music/Recordings folder? After all, there is a Recordings folder in Android. Why doesn't Fossify Voice-Recorder use this one?

Why do you want this feature?

The Music folder is for music files and putting recordings in it causes confusion.

This was reverted due to UX issues, default suggested folder will be changed in another future update.

The app now requires users to select a directory on first run so this isn't much of a problem anymore but I'll reopen anyway.

Unfortunately, this process is a nightmare and I ended up giving up and uninstalling the app. I've never had anywhere near as much difficulty selecting a directory for an app to use as I did with this.

Yeah I needed to remove the folder Internal Storage/Recordings, only to recreate it from the folder selection window in the app before I could select it as the target folder.

@vertigo220 what exactly is the problem you are facing?

• It's nothing different from what you would have to do when changing the recording folder from settings.
• It's a 4-tap process which will be reduced to 2 or 3 taps in future versions.
