👉 There are 3 problems:

Problem 1: Different methodology from ENS report and DefiLlama

DefiLlama counts all fees paid by users when names were registered or renewed

ENS report counts fees over the service delivery period, more detail from ENS forum:

Recognized revenue in this report follows the accrual accounting method. That means:

Revenue is recognized over the service delivery period, not when the name is registered
Revenue is recognized daily based on the closing price of ETH/USD on that day UTC and the number of active .eth names on that day
Example: On Jan 1, a one-year $5 .eth registration paid as 0.002 ETH would be recognized as follows:

Daily revenue recognition: 0.002 ETH / 365 = 0.00000548 ETH per day

Problem 2: The current adapter has issues itself

Problem 3: ENS smart contract has a bug on emit Renew events
