Neither AppImage nor .deb of 2.6.3 launches on Ubuntu 24.04

This is what I'm getting when running from the terminal:

Oh no, that's unexpected, Are you running on wayland by any chance?

Also, have you had luck with older versions?

@RangerMauve Indeed I run Wayland. Quickly tested in Xorg, unfortunately the results are the same.

I'll try building the next one in a newer release of Ubuntu to see if that changes anything. Also, what sort of CPU are you running? 64 bit x86?

I haven't forgotten about this! I don't have an ubuntu-compatible machine to test on at the moment. Hopefully one of these fridays I'll have time to re-flash one of my computers with it. Any help from others would be appreciated in the meantime

The .deb distribution of Agregore can be started via

agregore-browser --no-zygote --no-sandbox

on Ubuntu 24.04 and then seems to function normally.

Yeah by the looks of it I just need to update electron-builder and it should work for deb distributions. AppImage will need these no-sandbox flags.

I backed up the last of my files from an old computer so I just need to wipe it and set up Ubuntu 😅
